MENS TRAINING CLASS - LEARNING HOW TO LEAD SONG
SO YOU WANT TO PREACH! - GOOD NOW WHAT?
The material presented here is from the work presented by Dee Bowman while I was studying at Florida College. I believe it is an insightful approach as to what is needed if men are to stand before the body of Christ.
Acknowledgements to the various material used in this study;
My first introduction to men's training was in South Africa under the direction of Gene Tope. The second training class I attended in South Africa was directed by Kevin and Doug Bauer. Dee Bowman, Carrol R Sutton, Edward Bragwell Sr, and David J Riggs all contributed to my understanding of the necessity of training our men in the service of the Lord. The rest of the information that did not come from personal training classes has come from material by Murray Wade of the Oakridge church of Christ, Mark Roberts work - Men at work, Gene Taylor's work - Prepared for every good work and a host of other resources that I have collected over the years of preaching. The material selected for the Song Leading training comes from a host of website information, R J Stevens - Rudiments of Sight Singing workbook, and a course I took under Dudey Walker at Florida College during my 1987-1989 stay.
